ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE DAYS

MONDAY, TUESDAY AND SUNDAY – AIRPORT – HOTEL – AIRPORT

On Monday, June 9th, and Tuesday, June 10th, a bus will provide non-stop service from Helsinki Airport to the event hotel, Sokos Hotel Flamingo, during the daytime. Buses will depart approximately every 30 minutes. Please follow the signs at the airport to the bus area, where event staff will be available to guide you to the correct platform and assist you in boarding.

On Sunday, June 15th, a bus will run non-stop from Sokos Hotel Flamingo to Helsinki Airport during the day. Departures will be approximately every 30 to 40 minutes, and event staff will be at the hotel to help you board.

TOURNAMENT BUSES / COMPETITION TRANSPORT

FROM WEDNESDAY TO SATURDAY – HOTEL – GASSHUKU/TOURNAMENT – HOTEL. CHECK SCHEDULES

Please note that the gasshuku and tournament venue is located 25 km from the hotel, so booking transportation is highly recommended.

Buses will leave in the morning from the event hotel, Sokos Hotel Flamingo, to take participants to the event location, Järvenpään Jäähalli. In the evening, after the last event of the day has concluded, buses will transport participants back to the hotel. Please be ready to board the buses 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Event staff will be available at both locations to assist with boarding. When departing after the event, please allow extra time for transportation, as buses may become crowded if several teams leave at the same time.

TRANSPORTATION FEE

FROM AIRPORT TO HOTEL, HOTEL TO GASSHUKU/TOURNAMENT, FROM HOTEL TO AIRPORT

fee covers transportation from the airport to your hotel, a round trip between the hotel and the camp on Wednesday, daily transportation between the hotel and the competition venue from Thursday to Saturday, and finally, transportation from the hotel to the airport on Sunday.
The transportation fee is 120€ per person.

IN GREATER HELSINKI AREA – JÄRVENPÄÄ, VANTAA, TIKKURILA, HELSINKI CITY AREA, AIRPORT

The Greater Helsinki area offers various modes of public transportation, including buses, trams, trains, and the metro. Traveling from downtown Helsinki to the event hotel will require taking two different buses or involve some walking at either end of the journey. Public transportation between the event hotel and the event location typically takes 1 to 1.5 hours.

Tickets for trips can be purchased from ticket machines located at major hubs such as Helsinki Airport, the central train station, and harbors. Additionally, some shops and kiosks sell tickets. Taxis in Finland can be expensive, and many unofficial taxis operate in the area. It’s advisable to pre-order a taxi, use a reputable app, or call a reliable taxi company. If you choose to take a taxi from the street or a taxi stand, ask for the fare upfront.
